Call me crazy, but I don’t always subscribe to fashion trends. Don’t get me wrong – I find fashion truly inspirational as an art and craft but there are times when things just get out of hand (or arm, or leg). After all, there’s a fine line between looking expressively eccentric and downright ridiculous.
Those of you who have read a few of my posts know that I rarely say No to a museum trip. But when paired with a Design exhibition – now this just screams irresistible!
The first week of 2015 is now behind us but I still feel like I haven’t given enough credit to the last hours of 2014 for making the start of the new year as fabulous as it was.
In the 365 days that the Earth has spent orbiting around the Sun, I have journeyed to a few places myself. Now that the first weekend of 2015 is drawing to a close, I thought back to the highlights of my year, and, perhaps unsurprisingly, they were all travel-related. There’s just something addictive and poetically adventurous in knowing that you’re about to leave your daily routine and everything you know behind, and give yourself over to the bliss of the unexpected, the undiscovered, and the unimaginable.
